NEW LUNCH RELEASES:

DEAR LEADER

First we kick-off the summer with the debut release from DEAR LEADER, the brainchild of Aaron Perrino (former lead singer/guitarist of Boston's Sheila Divine). The debut single from Aaron Perrino's (ex-Sheila Divine) DEAR LEADER.This 7" single takes off like a steaming locomotive with the powerful"My Life As A Wrestler" and drops you off safely at the station withthe mysterious b-side, "Slow Death Shadows." Limited edition pressing of only 500 copies on black licorice vinyl!

The debut CD/EP from Aaron (ex-Sheila Divine) Perino's DEAR LEADER.Recorded in February of 2003, Perrino holed himself up at Moontower studio (Cambridge, MA) with producer Darren Ottraviani to create these sullen recordings that seemed to mesh perfectly with the cold weather outside. John Dragonetti of Jack Drag then put his magic touch on these songs. Limited edition card board sleeve packaging.

For fans of The Crystal Method, Fat Boy Slim, Moby and The Chemical Brothers: The Production Club¹s Follow Your Bliss is a collection of songs chock full of punchy infectious grooves with a simple philosophy. Recorded it, sample it, listen to it, loop it, and play it back, again and again!

Many moons ago, Boston's Helicopter Helicopter and Lunch Records released Squids and other Fishes and Analog and Electrical Fields within a 12 month period. Squids was actually the bands demos, so Analog was truly their first record. Both of those releases are now here for your listening pleasure on one beautiful CD called, Great Big Meaningless. A must for any indie rock fan, and long out of print, these 21 recordings encapsulate the band's early raw energy.

When he is not fronting the critically acclaimed band, The Gravel Pit, Jedediah Parish is making some of the best music this side of the prime meridian. It's one Hank Williams, one part Tom Waits and two parts Brian Wilson-one part "Pet Sounds" and the other part "Smiley Smile" era. Heck it's good stuff and we like it!

Hybrasil

JOHN DOE on LUNCH!
That's right! Lunch will release more wax - a limited edition 7" vinyl single - by the King of Cow-Punk: Mr. John Doe. Those of you who know John know he's has been the voice and bassist for one of the most important bands too ever exist: X! Yes, X! X were (and still are) the West Coast punk band that set the bar for thousands of bands to come. And if that's not enough, when John's not playing music, he's either in movies, on TV, or taking care of his horses. Now that's cool. Look for the Lunch limited edition "Seasons In The Sun" 7" vinyl single to be released in conjunction with this the release of "The Red Right Hand" in which he stars! (In theaters this October).

WELL, WELL, WELL!
